Fire Soot Damage in Keller Home

This is an example of how SERVPRO of Northeast Fort Worth can clean up soot in the event of a home getting fire damage.  In this historical home the fire started in the kitchen but the smoke quickly spread throughout the house.  Our SERVPRO demolition team removed and discarded the charred building elements following local codes. We  used hydroxyl generators to purge the air of most of the smokey and dirty particles. Once the exposed areas were cleaned up, we also did a thermal fogging, to remove any residual smoke particulates buried in cracks and crevasses. The After Photo illustrates the tiles in the bathroom after we started the cleaning process.  As you can see just a small section had been cleaned but it already was beginning to look 100% better as seen by the whiteness in the grout.
